I think he's more face-palming his left-eye? Wouldn't "Palm to face, whilst shaking head" be more suitable? It's not really the banging of his head?

That might work in some context, as he is shaking his head but again we have <-- which I think is more suitable for the phrase "Oh no"

from mouth. Nose is not used to make such sounds. What if in an interview you're asked a silly question you going to make a sound using your nose.
