Back to your PC? Just started the download, will check and respond downloaded, its accurate, just a suggestion, rather keeping it to balls bowled, have it Overs bowled.
Other calculators like Batting Average, Bowling Average etc… coming soon.

Won't mind a combined version though.

One more thing - it'll absolutely be awesome if we get the calculator for more than one player at the time, I'd say 18. :)

Can you give some screenshots here? I don't have windows so can't test, but I have a few ideas, which I'm not sure you've implemented or not..
1. Import from excel/csv or copy paste tabular data for multiple players
2. Export to excel/csv or output tabular data that can be copied to excel.

Using the same input data, you can give us the bowling, batting avges, and whatever stat you want.

I don't understand the use of this though. Calculating bowling economy is so easy, runs conceded/balls bowled*6. I mean why will anyone use a program for such a thing which can be manually done.

If he can handle files, you can simply input a csv file name with say 100 players, and automatically calculate the bowling/batting stats for all of them, and output to the same file.
It is not very hard to do, and would save a lot of time for people wanting to calculate these stats.

Exactly, when we started the conversation regarding this - we had a go on one entry at a time and then move on to bulk with all at a place.

They are quite different however.
Just need to make sure your formula is correct. Create a function, and pass the variables in the file handling function.

Runs conceded divided by overs bowled = answer.

There is no need of this.
Wrong. You'll first need to convert the overs bowled into balls, then calculate.

This has the potential to handle overs and convert them into balls, so you don't need to do that.

Runs conceded divided by overs bowled = answer.
Infact, this is a prime example why a calculator like this is needed. Remember, in cricket 0.6=1

Wrong. You'll first need to convert the overs bowled into balls, then calculate.
Why?

For example, let's "do math" with 69 runs conceded in 8.0 overs. (This is Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling figures in a live match)

My calculator:
69/8=8.625

ESPNCalculator
69/8=8.625 (Rounded off to 8.62)

Don't believe me? Convert it Yourself!
