Cricket game for PSP?

Hi. I am really sorry if this topic has been taken up before.
But my bro just bought PSP (Playstation Portable for those who don't know!)
And the only game we have is PES5, it's allright.
I am also considering buying GTA: LCS next week.
But when I was playing I started to think about Salman Butt & Afridi.
And I really wanted a cricket game for PSP. Brian Lara maybe for PSP.
That would have been just great! Play a cricket game whereever you are.
That would be better because it's crap to sit infront of the pc for 100 overs!
You can play a full odi in the morning, in the bus, in the bed... etc..
So does anyone know if there is a cricket game under developement for PSP?
Will there ever be one? Do you wan't one? I hope it comes one..
It would have been great if it came during the summer or before!

Sorry mate but I have searched long and hard to find a cricket game for the PSP for you but I havn't found one!
The closest thing I've found is this: http://www.gamespot.com/mobile/sports/cricket_india/index.html?q=cricket which will be a cricket game for the mobile phone in the future - and may even appear on the PSP. You never know.

You could maybe make a request to HB Studios to make a cricket game for the PSP. Just a thought.

But I really hope it comes out a game, think how great it would bee that you could play a good cricket game wherever and whenever you want!

As much as I hate to dissapoint you. I wouldn't get your hopes up

The PSP although always planned for release was probably used as a ploy to gain sales at the time of the release of the XBOX 360. Once the Playstation3 comes out, I doubt the PSP will get much attention from Sony or the public, and hence, this is why a Cricket game is unlikely. We can always hope though!!

I doubt it, but even the most unlikely formats get PC games (SNES / PS / PS2 / XBox) all have cricket games (some of them several)

I'm playing MLB baseball at the mo' (import - plays just fine)

If that can be done (and its a BIG game with every major franchise and every player in it - FULL SEASONS - and baseball seasons are massive)

Well if that can be done (as a release title) then there is definately hope for a PSP cricket game. I reckon more than likely there will be one - but at least mid term in the PSP's life cycle (that just seems to be the way it is)

Maybe another great Ashes series will spark interest with developers and publishers.

But the biggest cricket market is in Asia - and if the current India / Pakistan series is anyhting to go by - then we'll have a "Dulux Paint Drying" sim long before we have a cricket game. (I'm really glad I subscribed to Sony TV to watch it now.....NOT!)

PSP still isn't the best option to create a game on. Possibly EA/CM will create one when game start to lower, PSP price decreases and popularity for the PSP rises.
