Pakistan won the toss and without any doubt decided to bat first.

Inzamam - We will like to bat first on this pitch which looks good for batting. If we can score around 260 then it will be very hard for India to chase with dew playing a major factor and against our good spinners. We will be expecting a blast away start from openers. Any score above 230 will be a winning total for us.

So here are the two lineups. For Pakistan, Shabbir and Hassan have not been included and the two all rounders have found their place in team. Taufeeq will open with Afridi. In Indian team, Kaif and ganguly have returned after injuries and Sreesanth will be third seamer with with two left arm pacers Zaheer and Pathan. Sachin will open with Sehwag while either Dhoni or Pathan will have an promotion in batting order.

Now we will take you straight to the action where Pathan is ready with the new ball against Afridi and Umpire has signalled for the start of match.

Welcome to the first match of Sharjah Cup between India and Pakistan. The news so far is that Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pathan will bowl the first over.

Great start fom Pathan. A great inswinging delivery that came in to the right hander and Afridi missed it completely and the ball hit the stumps. So Pathan strucked on the third ball of match and Pakistan lost Afridi on without any score on board. Afridi looked really disappointed on his rash shot when he was nowhere near the ball.

Pakistani captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is the new batsmen on the crease. Sreesanth will be the bowling partner with Pathan.

Another big blow to pakistan as T. Umar who was making a comeback to the team played a complete irresponsible shot to Sreesanth and lofted the ball in third man direction where Tendulkar made no mistake in holding that. Pakistan lost its second wicket on 11 and Sreesanth got his first wicket. Taufeeq made only 7 runs. Yousuf Yohana is the new batsmen and India creating some early pressure on Pakistani team.

Now two Pakistan's most experience players are on the crease - Captain Inzamam and Yohana. Both have to build a strong partnership now for their country.

Both batsmen start cautiously to build a base for the team. The two batsmen play mainly defensively but punishing bad balls from both bowlers. In just 8th over, Dravid bring Zaheer to the attack for Sreesanth who was treated mercilessly by Pakistani batsmen. Zaheer looked really fired up in his spell and bowled with good pace. It seems that he is really hungary for success. Pathan on the other end continued to trouble batsmen with his seam and constantly missed the outside edge.

After 10 overs, Pakistan is 46/2 with Inzamam and Yohana adding 35 runs for third wicket. Yohana is looking really good out there and middling most of the deliveries which are very good signs for Pakistan. Inzamam like always has looked abit shaky in the start.

Because when I created him I forgot to change the label from batsmen to bowlers. All other characteristics of him are as a bowler .

Youhana and Inzamam now start to play more aggressively and thrashing the Indian bowlers all side of wickets. Indian pacers are getting some really harsh treatment out there in hands of Pak veterans. Both added 66 runs for the third wicket and took the score to 77 for the loss of two wickets in 14th over.

Dravid brought Sreesanth to attack in 15th over and he immediately striked for India by getting the Pakistani captain caught at third-man to V Sehwag. Pakistan lost a very crucial wicket of their captain on 77. Inzamam will be very disappointed wit himself by getting out to a cheap shot after being well set. Sreesanth got his second wicket. Vice-captain Younis Khan is the new batsmen and pressure once again on Pakistan.

So at the end of 15 overs, Pakistan is 83/3 scoring at 5.50 runs per over but they have lost three very crucial wickets.
