You only get a boost if you're in the Top 10 posters which none of you are so as long as you stay slightly active, your rating won't be deducted

No you don't, if someone posts as much as you, for example, their stats will remain unadjusted so it's all good.
The top 10 posters have their stats increased and those that have never posted in the match threads or team threads have them decreased.
