Another simple method is just click on Repair under you LAN connection menu, It will renew your IP address

No need to change even your IP do this

Disconnect and re-connect your connection (not Modem)
Go to Start Menu>Run and type "cmd" (without quotes)
now type "ipconfig/flushdns"(without quotes) after you get a message frm dos exit it and try downloading frm rapidshare.

It works for me

1) Make any file of above 1 MB size.
2) Ask your friends or promote it on net as something very important to be downloaded.
3) Your Rapid points will increase and soon you will have your own free account.
4) I suggest all PC members help each other on this.

How many downloads on average do you need to get for that file? Can you download it yourself on different computers?
