Shoaib Malik's captaincy style

In the recent past,many questions have been raised and fingers have been pointed at S.Malik,the current Pakistan skipper. Even the great Imran Khan has not spared him.
The frequent cropping of his battin order has not helped matters. Add to that,his personal form too hasnt been great. Yes,he did score a hundred yesterday.However,Criconfo stats reveal that Malik has bowle donly 49 overs in 16 matches against India,Srl,South Africa and other strong teams.That come sout to be 3 overs per match.
Is it time for Pakistan to look for a more authoritative captain ? One who can control the reins properly.Maybe some one like a Misbah or even Salman ?

Anyways, I think Sir Imran Khan has rightfully questioned over Shoaib Malik’s captaincy because of his teams inconsistency, throughout the takeover. Actually Pakistani team has been real question mark over PCB policies in past 7 years or so.

Shoaib Malik, I think is capable of being a world Class all-rounder, maybe the best, by working abit on both batting and bowling. I also think that the ICC ban on his bowling did do damage to his cricket, but he got over it indeliblely fast. As he already is a great fielder.

Where over his captaincy, I think he needs to spend some time with the Coach, working out strategies and bits’n bobs. He, as already said by Khan, needs to lead the team from the front, and I don’t doubt his capabilities. Shoaib need’s to be more aggressive, and trust his young players equally as his senior.

My personal opinion is that the thing which Pakistan lacks is that their reserves are not as strong as they’d like it to be. The team does not have enough strong batsman and bowlers, so if you’re main players is out of form or injured, the team is not hit much. I mean If you take out Younus, Yousuf, Misbah and Gul, you’d see a very ordinary team.

I though that after Inzamam’s departure, Pakistan would move on to better days, and maybe be a team capable of beating team like South Africa. There is no point on playing a full time spin bowler in the team, who isn’t a wicketing bowler and isn’t economical, as seen Fawad Alam’s very ordinary bowling against India.

Malik is fine. Just because they may not have got the results, it doesn't mean he is bad. IMO they look a much better side thaan in recent previous times.

Fawad Alam is clearly more batsman than bowler, that they seem to often play him below no. 7 is more mismanagement than fact. He has probably been earmarked as a important future player that they want to play often.

Pakistan needs to rebuild its batting and bowling combinations and needs a good captain......at present the team is unstable....

There are muh better all-rounders, young ones in Pakistan Domestic.

I also think, Malik can grow up to be a better captain then Inzamam, can play atleast 2 more world cups.
