If however, I shall sense that the bid has been made at the last moment just to avoid the other guy and the opposition still desperately wants the player, I shall extend the bid seeing I only want to hand him over to the single winner.

I know. I'll need to consult with The Spin before offering more, we don't intend to fritter away a large chunk of our cash on one player, especially with the Nats draft yet to happen. Wouldn't be wise.

As it stands, that is my offer, and I'm hoping Rhys is willing to come to Man D despite the lower offer. I know he wants to be here, and I know he'll be very happy in this club, and 1.25 mill is still a record-breaking transfer.
