Bats Change??

I like the sticker of the Adidas actually but yeah I slightly agree with the people that it won't be the same like that MRF sticker, it was his trademark.

One question, did KP actually change his sticker or bats cause he's just not as good as he used to be with the Woodworm as it seems to be a bit heavy on him and he's not been able to play freely with the Adidas.

Are you serious?

About him changing bats/stickers as a reason for his poor form.

Hahaha, I was talking about bats not stickers. Stickers don't have an effect on the bat's power.

Might be the reason cause it all started with the Stanford T20 and followed by the India tour where he scored couple of tons but not in the typical KP style and also his batting style seems to have changed a bit as well.

May be...

KP's technique has changed, nothing to do with his bat. The problems he's been having have largely been with the full swinging delivery. The reason for this is his back-lift getting too high, and directed towards the slips, meaning he's playing across the ball and not having enough time to get down on a fast, swinging yorker. He also wasn't helped by an Achilles injury that's been bugging him for quite some time. Nothing to do with changing bats, just poor form and a technical flaw sneeking into his play. He'll be back after his achilles surgery and be better than ever and hungrier than ever. I'm predicting a massive year for KP coming up, starting with the tour of South Africa. Hopefully he'll start to show the player he's capable of being and start making big runs.

Without the stickers the bat's useless.

Technique might be the main issue, I think he's pressing his elbows too much that makes him get too low at the crease and play across the line. Before, his techique was a lot simpler and he used to play the slog sweep so much better.

a bat is a bat
stickers have nothing 2 do with form or technique................
:laugh:laugh

Adidas doesn't make bats for professional level. MRF doesn't make bats for professional level. Their bats are specially made on order, and the sticker of the company they are representing is slapped on the bat. Like Pepsi or Coke on the shirts. Pepsi and Coke don't make cricket shirts.
