The gist of the problem seems to be that I've lost the ability for a once off with people I'll see often. With total strangers it's not a problem but with someone I'll see in class everyday; I can't have a romp in the hay without consequences. I think I'll take whatever scraps come my way until I find something substantial. Going for longevity now, my Caligula days seem to be behind me now

that only works on the classier segment of scouse girls.

I tend to attract the most mental segment.

girl I recounted a story about a few months back, mate tells me she once told him that her mum had cancer. she didn't have cancer. glad i dodged that one.

Yea I've encountered a few of those before, usually have daddy issues. Not to sound misogynist but a girl with a troubled childhood is usually bad news, the issues tend to surface throughout adulthood while boys are usually good about either repressing or dealing with the same issues.

Knew this one chick in the dorms who told everyone she was "*****", but I never believed it. Simply because she would volunteer the information, even to people she was meeting for the first time.

it's hard to call though, people deal with things in different ways, maybe that's how she did. certainly can't ever challenge someone on something like that.

As long as you avoid any Tiberius days.

anyone catch that article about the Christian couple in the UK not being allowed to foster kids because they preach against homosexuality?

sits in perfect contrast with how socially backwards the USA is in some regards. Over here some states don't let gay people foster kids or adopt them.

Have to admit I like your system a bit better in that regard. We have yet to root out some overwhelmingly Christian influences in our ethical laws.

Started seeing this scouse bird about 7 years ago in the january of that year, only see her for about 5 weeks she was f@cking nuts, the last time she come and see me at mine in london, the last day i see her it was a bout 5.30 in the morning and freezing cold.

Looked next me to and nut job had gone, something told me to look outside my window, sure enough she was outside in shorts and t shirt skipping with a skipping rope in my garden.

Well we made eye contact, if you have ever seen the teen horror film the faculty it was like when the coach and students are on the football field they have been taken over by aliens, well that is the look i was given, with an evil smile to go with it.

Sure enough after seeing the day out i made sure i never see that bitch again.

Well my first two days of uni have gone pretty smoothly, apart from the ****en buses.

Yesterday I was waiting at the stop for half an hour, and today 45 minutes, which incidentally made me 15 minutes late for my lecture.

On the sign it says a bus will come there between every 5 and 15 minutes (as it's one of the main bus routes/roads into town), which is true, but they forget to mention that roughly 4 out of 5 of all the buses are already full when they get to my stop, hence the ****en long wait.

Apparently it's because all the students have now gone back to uni, but it's still a ****en joke how the main transport company in our biggest city can't deal with that.

So tomorrow I'll be going to the stop really early, and what's the bet an empty bus turns up straight away and I get to uni like 45 minutes early?

What time do your lectures start? I've never been late to a lecture :p

The trains here in Wellington are just as bad, they break down all the time and I was almost late to one of my exams last year. That sucks how the buses are always full though, how long is the bus ride??

We just had an earthquake here, a small one but still, doesn't help that I'm living on the hill as well..

Sorry then. :p

It was a 10am one, I start then four days, and IIRC an hour later on Friday. It's a pretty good time really, as you don't need to get up too early, but I'm not wasting any of the day by sleeping in.

I left home at 9.05, got to the bus stop at 9.10, I didn't get on a bus until 9.55, then got to my lecture at 10.15, and just stood at the back. Luckily like five other people got there later than me.
