Now, the final piece of the puzzle, how your team can earn bonus points and also, how you can lose them.

Winning
Obviously winning is good and gets you 2 bonus points to spread around, but winning away from home is even better, and will mean 3 points for the first away win and then 5 for the second consecutive one - resetting when you go back home (no one plays more than 2 away games in a row).

Winning points are doubled in FC.

Man of the Match
The player named Man of the Match by Cricsim gets a bonus point for themselves.

Losing
Losing can get you points too. Lose an away game within 10 runs or 2 overs and get a bonus point. Draws earn a point for each team.

Constantly losing
10 Bonus points for losing 5 matches in a row.

Byes
Get every player in your squad to post in your bye thread to get 3 bonus points

You may also opt to play a game of Ten10 cricket (based on my Dice Simulator from my Ten10 Cricket Cup League) - risk any amount of bonus points to win back double.

Losing points
- A loss by more than 10 overs or 100 runs will lose 2 points
- A loss at home will lose 2 points.
- If your star player bats and gets out for a duck they lose 2 points
- If your star player bowls and their economy rate is >12 they lose 2 points

vCash
You can choose to get 10,000 vCash instead of a bonus point.

Use this thread to notify me of points adjustments.

That seems disproportionately unfair against bowling star players. Getting no wickets in a 6 over spell is hardly unusual.

Yeah totally agree , It should be based on both economy and wickets :thumbs

I've modified it to an economy figure, which I can adjust if it happens too often.

Unless I've got something really wrong [which might very well be], to average <=12 would mean taking at least 2 wickets, as in a 6 over spell going away for 25-30 some runs would be quite normal?

Ah, meant economy not average.

Considering in PCPL3 our star bowlers went at 10 rpo+ in nearly every game despite having the best averages and stats... :p
I'd prefer 12 to start with.

So if a star player gets out on 1 or 2 for consecutive innings, we don't lose points, but we do when he gets out on duck in a single match? I don't like it.

If a team loses points, does this mean they have to therefore deduct points from some player?
Yes, that's what this thread will be used for. You can only lose the 'bonus' points, and not the base 5. Star players can go down to 5 base points.
