Is it dead?
Was it great in the past?
What does it need?
Just part of life that it is not well visited?

Discuss......
One thing I have noticed is the lack of English and Aussie members in particular posting in the tour threads nowadays, used to be loads !

Yes believe the cricket forum is dead and not just this one, a possible solution is for Cricket Web and Planet Cricket to combine into one forum, maybe who knows might work.

I just think multiple accounts and fakes have done the damage and still continue to do so with all the good and funny people leaving as the result, don’t blame them. Also believe a few people have seen what is happening and instead of doing the right thing don’t, they support the fakes for they own sinister kicks, which in turn destroys the cricket forum even more.

Multiple accounts/fakes won’t bring or contribute anything to a forum just repetitive posting/conversations which is the problem there is no new members, again a problem here and CW. I was hoping to help rebuild PC and the cricket forum in general, for some kind of future but it looks like it is all over and finished.

If there's no input leads no output is what I feel. If we genuinely want the old PC the back we need active members in the power positions. Most importantly we need Matt's activity...

Fair point.

I don't generally comment on it publicly, but I'll say fairly directly that I haven't been active enough to make a good judgement about members who would be good to promote into the staff team, or who would want such a role. That then creates the problem slowly losing active staff and not replacing them.

I'm open to ideas on site improvements and ways to increase engagement.

I don't have any right to say but Phil has been the most active admin in the past year or so and would be the best guy on making staff decisions.

On more engagement of old and new members, I feel vCash can play a huge factor in improving the quality and quantity of the posts. Precisely, going forum by forum:
  • Cricket Discussions: A valuable post gives you some vCash whereas a spam post gets you deductions.
  • Modding/Cricket Games Discussion: Here every mod uploaded gives you vCash, it could basically increase the amount of mods available for games like DBC14. Same goes with discussion, like the Cricket Discussions, bonuses and fines can be imposed for contributors and spammers respectively. On an additional note, if someone posts stuff on a regular basis gets a bit of hike in the payment
  • Graphics Forum: Being the most active member in the Graphics Forum for the past half decade, I feel the current state is a bit on the lower end but I'll try being the one getting the members in there but recently there has been life and I suggest the one doing regular graphics gets vCash and the one giving constructive criticism gets vCash and one liners pointing negatives is fined.
  • Cricket Leagues: The one running a successful leagues and someone being active throughout gets vCash and someone who doesn't complete a league/lazy while managing a team gets a fine.
  • Other forums: I guess they are good enough.
The amount of vCash can be accounted by different people for different forums and may vary from content to content.

Also, the vCash Shop can make a huge impact on the activity of the site.

Also, the bunch of active guys here including myself who have influence over different social media platforms can announce about fantasy cricket games and dailt roundup stuff.

These are my two cents, hope maybe a bit valuable.

Agreed would be nice if the fascinating insights offered by followers of cricket in the subcontinent here was the same across the board for other cricketing nations too.
As for how one would go about implementing this...I haven't the foggiest :noway

We can't do anything if any cricketer gets injured in any series or tournament in Fantasy Cricket. We can't replace him with any other cricketer. It needs improvement.
