I'll suggest you to try keeping it simple for banners. I personally used fonts like Arial, Bebas, Alright, Gotham and some other simple yet elegant typaces. Experiment but as far as it it simple enough. :)

Personally prefer v3 with the ever-so-slightly smaller font size as compared to v4. I chose Montserrat as the font, as I thought it was simple enough and I think the thickness of the font in v1 and v2 made the banner look clunky. Also, I've made the color of it lighter. The dark blue in the previous versions was a bit strenuous on the eyes, imho. So, The thinner and simpler font with the slightly resized background and smaller font size with the Ashoka Chakra as the 'O' in One-Day is my pick for the win. I will consider adding some sort of symbol (still not in favour of the IPL logo as it's synonymous with that, the IPL) when I get the time. I'll try to find something that suits. But, personally, I think v3 is simple enough and adequate enough that it doesn't need a symbol.

Try adding Bumrah's bowling action to the left of font and Virat Kohli's batting stance towards the right of the font.

Here are the main logos of Indian One-Day Championship teams.. I just haven't been able to figure out the fonts, so hence, decided to show the main logos.

Any sort of criticism is more than welcome! :)

Mumbai team logo not suit much... It looks odd...

Maybe something like sun image will be more suitable... Something like this

Do you know what that 'spinnery' thing in the Mumbai Indians logo is? Would love to know.

Since this logos are based on the IPL teams, I think something similar to its IPL version would suit Mumbai better. :)
