How Often Do You Find Yourself Playing This "Cricket" Game?

Well maybe I just want to know how much people actually play this game, because everyone claims its crap (including myself), and I'm entitled to an opinion, and if your sick of this forum then simply don't read it!... And yes I am cooler than you "playkid".

Entitled to your opinion? Well, so am I. Being blunt, my opinion is that yours sucks. And seriously, when did I say that you weren't entitled to an opinion? You're fully allowed to express yourself however you want, but if you have an opinion and someone else has another, you should be ready to be criticized. Criticism and opinions almost go hand in hand, and that's what my last post was all about. Harsh criticism.

Sad that you didn't get the gist of why I said that the posts aren't too good that bash the game. I was asking for originality in the bashing - then it'd be fine. It's just getting old that people say the same thing over and over again. Not once did I say that I'm "sick of this forum." I said I'm sick of the bashes not being original because we've heard everything already.

I have been hanging out at the Codemasters forum and yes people are moaning over there.
I was very dissapointed in Lara myself, as it had the makings of the best cricket game ever. Graphics are very good (pc version) but gameplay is kiddie level.
What most people are moaning about now is the deafing silence coming from Codemasters regards an AI patch.
You get little or no info back regards a patch and so people are getting really pissed off. All is needed is a YES or NO regards the patch.
If its a no, we can move on and play other games.
Its just a travesty of justice when you have the makings of an awesome game and nothing looks like it will be released to fix the bugs.....

I dont under stand every ones problem with the game? ^"kiddie level" thats not very specific. I always hear ppl say it suxs but without reason..
Yes the AI suxs but online is great, for years ive wanted to play a cricket game online. Online works great, when both ppl have the ladder patch u dont get bugs and disconects.

My main gripe is that u can bowl too wide out off stump and spiners can bowl to short (near umps waist) . This is on online problem tho and it caused by ppl exploiting wouldnt be hard to patch tho.

I also feel that batsman shouldnt be able to walk across there crease that much, they can move to far. Other than that its great, 360 batting is cool. You get used to the catching and the way the batsman dont ground there bat properly.

i see guys who r complaining either didnt play this game online of if they had played it online it must be a month ago or so. .and since many players have matured now, i really get pretty good tough competition, and those who say batting is easy come online, those who say bowling too difficult without exploiting bugs, come online. .those who say AI is stupid, come online, those who say catching is difficult and ridiculous, come online. .those who say cant run this game. .get ur system upgraded and updated.

this game is lot better than as it initially appears. .i know what i am saying.. .those who feel they are very good and the game is easy. .play online.

But you shouldn't have to get used to these things - after all these years these basic aspects of the game shouldn't even be talked about

There are ways to make this game more interesting, for those who are bored of it, and that is to simply make up test and one day series lol. I am currently playing a 5 test match series against England in England, and lost the first one, replaced Langer with myself for the second test, and in the first innings, where I had one the toss and batted, Australia are 3/356. So it's been a good revenge match! So yea, fun can be had with some imagination.

i agree with u to some extent, where i disagree a bit is, i didnt say single player mode is not important and CPU AI isnt important, they are very important. .but the importance varies to a certain degree, like playing fps, rpg, rts , etc games must have good CPU AI, as they contain campaign and storyline, but in sports it is not hugely important. .like if i buy any sports game like PES6 and Cricket games, i wud play single player only to practice for tournaments or online matches, and not waste time fighting agains AI which i believe is useless from gaming perspective. however cricket gaming is improving but not fast i know. .but still it is not that bad when we see the Cricket game popularity as a game compared to Soccer, so soccer game developers wud put more effort in it as they know the sales wud be high.
