Gilchrist hopes Twenty20 doesn't lose its fun factor

I wonder if Gilly personally is bored of it?

I don't think so, because on TV he was saying how much he loved T20 (Duh! It's Gilly!). Although he's only really had that one good knock. Before the game against England this year, his highest score was something like 17.

He would have enjyed the license to hit and if he got out its not a bid downer, hes only in the pavillion for not very long!

He probably has to say it. Sponsoring and stuff.

I think they shouldn't be careful and kill T20. I'd rather they have a One Day style league.

Twenty20 isn't designed for anything serious. Seriously, the Twenty20's in Australia a while ago got large numbers, especially when they were rolling in the families. Something quicker, simpler and something more flexible than a 5 day or 8 hour game. It's fast paced action?

Yeah and played at small venues. I went to all the Blues twenty20 games at North Sydney oval with family and friends and had a blast. I would hate it if all this got lost and it was moved to the SCG where you cant just walk around the oval whilst watching the cricket.

It is funny. After a few years of Twenty20 cricket people are questiong if it will lose its fun factor. Though Test Cricket has been played for over a hundred years and One Day cricket around 30 (Correct if I am wrong). No one has really questioned if those formats of the game is losing the fun factor. Strange
