Is the criticism over Cook worth it?

I think he has already shown that when he is in bad form he can grind it out, as shown by how he was able to grind out that important century last summer.

Clearly it is part of some "Masterplan" the ECB were cooking up ;)

Is the criticism over Cook worth it?

Cook is currently a run-scoring machine, it's amazing. It's great to see him in such good form when barely a year ago you couldn't rely on him to get into double figures before edging it. P.S I think I was proved wrong Treva, it appears Broad was droppable lol

Is the criticism over Cook worth it?

I would also prefer to see Tremlett in One-Day side, but I feel that the selectors are kind of tied to "Having" to keep Broad in the team, as dropping the T20 Captain from the One-Day team would seem unacceptable in their minds. We need to be more ruthless in picking players who are in form and...

Is the criticism over Cook worth it?

For some strange reason, in which I don't know why, I have never really been that interested in Broad. Too often he isn't "in form" but then he will occasionally show a glimpse of class and his rating in the team goes up again. I mean since he was injured he hasn't shown too much to even merit...

Is the criticism over Cook worth it?

I enjoyed the read, and I agree that someone young was needed to lead us for the next World Cup, which is ultimately the main aim of the ODI side.

in the earlier updates, the sky sports banner at the top, was smaller than it is now. So when I would type normally on here, the writing would look way out of sync with the picture, but ive only just noticed that the banner is back to its full size now. Thanks for showing me lol

I see your point, but I feel that this is more of a report of the matches and series I play than an actual story, if you get what I mean. So the way I write about the matches I play is as if its a journalist reporting on a days play or a sessions play, but thats the way I write, haha.
