    IIT-JEE aspirants thread!

I dunno how relevant these still are for JEE, but I used these ones: Physics: HC Verma, Resnick Halliday, Irodov Maths: SL Loney (Geometry) and Berman (Integration) Chemistry: NCERT Supplemented these heavily with material I got from Coaching classes though.

    IIT-JEE aspirants thread!

I was lurking around PlanetCricker for no reason after a long time and found this thread! I posted on this thread 10 years ago that I was planning to prepare. I did manage to crack IIT in 2011. :)

    I am leaving/back thread

Hi everyone, it has been a really long time since I was active here (mostly between 2007-2009). I had stumbled upon this website looking for cheat codes for Cricket 2002. Then got involved with the amazing modding community here and built mods for Cricket 2007. Huge thanks to the old timers...

    TAOC Discussion

Back after a long time. Just downloaded the thing, looking forward to playing! About the no balls, the meter is a good idea but it would be better to have it appear on random balls rather than having to press buttons every time.

Terrible pieces of sportsmanship in cricket - disgraceful Randiv

Don't understand how the ball gets in Sehwag's stats. Does it in the bowler's too? If India technically won the match just after the noball was bowled, Sehwag has not faced it, has he? Also a not so relevent doubt, when a batsman is hit on the pads in line and then gets bowled, is he out lbw as...

The Maths and Science Thread - Collection of Problems and Facts

If we don't consider only near normal rays we can't take thd sin i = tan i approximation and the answer will become a function of angle of incidence and a point image will not be formed. Near normal incidence just means that the observer is directly behind the object.

The Maths and Science Thread - Collection of Problems and Facts

Thats easy, Assuming normal incidence, n: refractive index, t: thickness of glass, d: distance of object. Apparent image after refraction wrt unsilvered glass, = nd, wrt mirror = nd + t, Image off mirror wrt itself, = nd + t, wrt unsilvered glass = nd + 2t, Image after refraction...

    Cricket 09 Release Speculation Thread

You could use the big command line utility to make things easier. By backup, I don't mean backing up the entire gob file. Just the ones replaced. Or an easier method will be to set the files-which-will-be-put-in-root's attributes to +s+h. That will stop most of the amateur rippers.

    CPU Temperatures and Voltage

So I shouldn't worry about my CPU for the time being? :happy

    Cricket 09 Release Speculation Thread

The best way to protect will be to backup and replace files in the original data.gob file. But that would mean tampering with that file and may corrupt it if something goes wrong. The backup should be strong though.

    CPU Temperatures and Voltage

Yes, from Dell. I played NFS-MW on full settings last night for about an hour and the temperatures just didn't budge, same around 47 and 51. Only the GPU temperature went up to 50C. PS: Are the voltages alright?
