I've just played Ashes series over and over and let the stats pile up. There are guys in my England and Australia sides who have over 100 test centuries. God knows how many wickets Anderson has got. I haven't even looked.

Actually now you mention it the fumbles in the field are a terrific update in C24. I only really noticed what had been missing when they put it in.

I think it says something that a lot of England's greats are guys who specialise in trying to rescue games from imminent collapse. Sooner or later it defaults back to some sort of charge of the light brigade type action because the top order came up short.

I think it's quite tough learning to bowl spin in environments where there's not a lot in it for you. Probably much better situation in England now then back in the 80s or 90s but I still feel like trying to nail down a first team place at county level bowling attacking spin is a tough assignment.

Dean Jones hit a century while afflicted with vomiting and diarrhoea. A bit of nappy changing out in the middle seems trivial by comparison. Plus, Kholi jr will gain useful early experience of test match atmosphere.

One of the biggest moral victories, I think you must mean. England could have easily won the match but instead they chose to honour their commitment to entertaining the crowd by being bowled out ignominiously.

T20 cricket has ruined the Indian batting mindset so now they can't compete in the Ashes at all. Even India's greatest ever player Ravi Shastri has 0 Ashes runs, owing to the time he hit 6 sixes in a FC match.

I don't know if you've ever tried bowling quick with an underwewight ball but I think it's an injury risk. Regardless, it's not just the weight of the ball. They're in trainers on an indoor surface. Pros always take it a bit easy in those conditions.

No idea. They're just not going to go flat out for a videogame becaused there's always an injury risk attached to bowling flat out.
