Mickey Rourke has to win for his amazing performance in The Wrestler. Ledger will win the "dead" vote, Winslet will get a deserved oscar for The Reader and Tomei or Cruz will get a supporting oscar.

I'm thinking of seeing Slumdog Millionaire tomorrow, though I have a feeling that Ledger's death will indirectly effect the Best Picture category. I think Milk will win, making up for the "Brokeback Mountain" snub a few years ago.

Ledger has to win best actor. Its an outrage if he doesnt.

Agree. He was simply superb in Dark Knight. Too bad he didn't live to see him getting nominated for the Oscars.
