Worker at least created the chances that could have ben used to get into the game. The Stags' fielding has been their most unfortunate area. I guess they miss Taylor and Oram in that regard too.

Love Adam Milne's pace tbh. 92 mph at 18 years old is bloody impressive. He's probably the quickest in the country.

Im pretty confident CD would have won if Ingram had taken that catch early on. Hes had a shocking tournament. Im pleased with how Noema Barnett went but he really needs to be more consistent with the bat this summer. Goodbye CD too bad you didn't fare any better than Otago, although the batting went well today

Yeah, looks like a good prospect. Needs to add some strength so that he can keep that pace up for a longer period of time though, but he's only 18. Has enough time to do that.

Disappointing for the Stags though. Been rooting for them in this group, and really hope they can win their last match at least.

Ingram must be really stressed after this tournament. Wonder how many pigs he has to kill to calm himself down :p

Great batting from How and NB, but our bowlers must of been atrocious.
Still not sure on the line-up they're playing, almost half the team are just bits and pieces players.
If Diamanti's not bowling, I don't see any value to him as a specialist batsman. Sure he's a good hitter, but that is going a bit over the top. Surely the can find someone else who's of better use.
Weston is very much a PT keeper. I said when they got there one thing they lack is a decent keeper, because plain and simply Griggs' batting is awful.

So many ifs and buts, if only they had Oram and Napier, they would be 2 and 1 instead of 0 and 3, and have a decent chance of making it into the semis. And then they may actually think about bringing in a second NZ team, but sadly that's never going to happen now on the basis of Otago's and CD's showings, and it's more likely that they'll just drop us altogether.

IMO the champions league is a bit of a mickey mouse tournament when teams that won their domestic competition are playing completely different teams in this tournament. They cant help the injuries but the couldnt the IPL teams just stay away from players like Taylor they have enough good players already to replace him

And I've read in places where people talk about how the IPL teams are disadvantaged because they don't have a team spirit. Simplest way to solve this is to not include the IPL and just include the Indian domestic teams :facepalm Would make it a much better tournament.

Weston didn't look good with the gloves, and CD lack a specialist spinner to contain the batsmen in the way Boje and Botha did. Bracewell was expensive, and I don't see why Diamanti wasn't bowling. Brad Patton can bowl as well, so they did have other options.

I think Diamanti is struggling with an injury or something, as he was playing as specialist batsmen towards the latter end of our doemstic season, and must still be.

Apart from Diamanti though, the only people that could replace him in the side would be Wheeler, Rance or Griggs, and he's a batter bat than all of them. He was in good form at the Emerging players tournament as well I think.

Yeah, I'm more thinking they must have some better options back home though.
They got like half the north island, and the top of the south island to get their players from. :spy

Hard luck CD, they have put up a good fight in this tournament since their opening match. Would have loved to see them at fullstrength, but they certainly haven't let down NZ.
