I had to post this. Hi, the title says it, I am leaving forums on a whole. You may think oh not another one of those fake leaves and all did and dad but I'm leaving for good this time, I thought I might start a blog but that's the same so I'm leaving this forums/blogs type of stuff.
I've met good and bad people along my journey since 2011 when I joined PakPassion.net but got banned more than 20 times. I was on another cricket forum as an immature spammer, getting banned around 6 times but managing to return in 2012 and surviving till 2015. The forum being Pakistan Cricket Forum - Cricistan which I loved whilst staying there, I made friends and foes, but eventually I got banned...
Not really a surprise, right?
From there I joined several other cricket forums and uptil late 2012, cricket was the only thing I used forums for until I had the idea of starting my own forum, so I went to IcyBoards - FREE MyBB Forum Hosting! and there I PMd a member called Electric Shock on the idea of making a forum, he was a MyBB guy so we went on with the plan, we made it a promotion forum starting off with the link http://promoguild.icyboards.net until a really nice guy named Guardian was nice enough to buy us a .net domain, we reached 1,500 posts; the forum was hacked, I though Electric Shock hacked it after some evidence so I banned him but it wasn't him and when I apologized, it was too late and that was the end of Promo Guild.
After that, I owned several small forums, all failures, PM advertising in my dirty ways, I found this forum called FreeToPromo, I was made a mod, then made admin and the owner had another forum, handheldgaming.org and he offered me it, I accepted but the next day, I was removed as admin on HandHeldGaming & FreeToPromo after I removed a staff without permission on FTP. FreeToPromo closed soon but robertson123 the new owner of HandHeldGaming kept HHG open, made me admin and we were doing nicely, we got to around 8k posts before I fell upon evil had the cpanel tried to hack the site and I did but the site was restored, I also ran a forum called Gaming Shift which was on the same hosting as HHG, but then my hosting was removed as I broke a TOS and I was stupid then so I didn't know what to do so I moved past it. That was 2013 for me.
I left forums for a bit, until I went on MyBB site in January 2014, saw a new free hosting called runBB, and I joined there too, made a forum called Pakistan Spirit, got a friend called Baqir from this cricket forum and we ran the forum, reached 3k posts until the domain expired and my host owner had the domain details as he bought me the domain and he had not been online since 6 months so that was the end of that.
I then ran a successful promotion forum called Promotion King .biz with a friend called Justin (Shock) and a cricket forum with a friend called Wasi.
Then I only posted on Pakistan Cricket Forum - Cricistan until November 2014 where I contacted this new member on cricistan.com/forums called dashing_man if we should run a new general chat forum, we thought of a new called Chillerr and that was Chillerr for you. Whilst I ran Chillerr, I ran a lot of other failure side forums which all failed obviously. In March 2015, I started getting bad feelings so I sold Chillerr for around 100$, and it had around 8,000 posts + 100 members but the new owner merged it into his own forum and it soon died.
I started so many forums, all failed.
In around July, I saw this new cricket forum called NotCricinfo, I joined, I was made admin and I designed them a theme and handled all tech issues, soon I had an argument with one of the admins, I resigned, but I had a few passwords of theirs so I leaked them on another cricket forum, the owner found out, was furious, found my Facebook, I put my school on Facebook and a few posts were public (I fixed that now) and so he went on my school website got the email and emailed my school my picture, my name saying that I was a porn watcher, my school found out, my headteacher and school police had to interrogate me but I got away with it by saying it was a prank by a friend.
After that I felt terrible, created forums, got banned on lots, today I'm banned on my favorite forums:
