Your Cricket Bat for a 12 year old

Hi All

New to forum. I'm looking for a new bat for my son. Likes to play shots in front. I've never played cricket before but he's pretty decent.
What sort of shape or any recommendations are there ?

Yeah, I'll second that the best place to go is the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre - when I lived in Australia they were great, and if you've not got much cricketing knowledge then the people in the store will be able to help you out. Also, sorry not to reply sooner.
