Batting Animations

Having never seen in-game Steve Smith make any moves across the stumps like real life Smith, I was beginning to think that his moves just weren't in the game.

However, today I was playing as RSA v IND and whilst batting with Amla, I noticed he moves across the stumps before the ball is bowled - a bit like Smith.

So, do batting animations only work when you are batting with that person? Because when I bowl to Amla, he doesn't make any moves at all.

Bug or working as intended? Any input appreciated!

In my career I have the Smith batting animation and it works pretty well I reckon.

Yeah but he's saying Steven Smith in the game doesn't do the action he does in real life but other batsmen do, I've noticed this as well and to be frank it's most likely a bug.
