Today, I conquered my fears and did something I haven’t done for over 3 years. (That rhymes, but it’s not the poem yet)
Mostly this is down to a member of this site who won’t want me to mention her name.
It needs to be said that the person in question gets a lot of stick here. Does she encourage it? Possible. Does she DESERVE it? NO. I think of her as my internet big sis. The person I talk to when my family isn’t around. She has questionable taste in underwear, and often doesn’t respond to my messages for at least 3 minutes which is out of order if you ask me.
But I love her to bits and she makes me laugh. So if you all want to do something nice today. Say hello to @CazCat She is an incredible person, and even though she has her flaws, (pm me for the juicy gossip) she has s heart of gold, and inspired me to make my situation better.
Anyway, here is my poem about this random member of planet cricket............
Today I saw a cat, it was stuck in a tree.
That poor little kitty, looked sad as can be.
When I walked past, it gave me a hiss.
Which reminded me that I needed a p***.
I tried to help it by throwing a stone.
But just ended up braking a bone.
I crossed the road and got beeped by a car.
Then.......eeerrr...something, something.
When I got home I made some tea.
Followed swiftly by that much needed wee.
I had some tuna which was soaked in brine.
When I thought of my friend, the dear Caroline.
Well I know what you are thinking. I should write professional poetry. Well maybe I will some day. But for now...............that’ll do pig. That’ll do.
