Asif Ali is best option. He can play high risk shot with ease. Bit like Younus Khan.
Younus Khan? Seriosuly? No man! He is a legend. Way to early to be comparing to him like this.

I think Shaheen Shah Afridi have been prefered a way too early for the international side. Let the guy play domestic cricket enough. He has a long way to go.
This guy looks like a real good prospect for Pakistan. He should definitely play domestic cricket and develop his game even more. The last he needs is to get his confidence and self belief destroyed through playing a top side which he is unprepared for. Another great left armer pace with great potential. Pakistan seem to have a vast amount of left armers :)

Yes...After Malik retirement he will be permanent in ODI. His shot selection is very good and can rotate strike very well. Pakistan need him.

Younis was the King of Test Matches in last part of his career but he was never a good one day batsman. However, Asif Ali if works hard can develop himself into a good replacement of Shoaib Malik after Malik's retirement. Asif has potential

Can somebody explain why Asif has such ridiculously low averages in domestic cricket?
