Lots of risks taken today. Hardik Pandya playing despite that ankle pain. Jadhav batting on one leg and pulling a hamstring that he already thinks should put him out of the tournament for possibly a good amount of time. Jadhav's decision to come in the end was the right one since CSK were brought so perilously close by Bravo (7 needed off 6). But Hardik's decision was more riskier. Got to see how he recovers. CSK will now probably think of trying to get a replacement for Santner and possibly get a guy who can hit the big shots in the middle.

I liked how Dhoni spoke in the end about minimizing the margin of defeat considering the dire and dead situation they were in. One might see it as a negative thinking, but its logical when you are playing a tournament where the league stage has 14 games for each side. Imran Tahir's celebration is already a mega hit with Chennai supporters (he is called "Parashakthi Express" by the fans lovingly, as in a 'super fast express train named after an iconic word used by Rajinikanth' considering the way he runs after getting each wicket)

Amazing win by Chennai. Somehow pulled off a stunning victory. Jadhav did a great job finishing it off, after a absolute blinder by Bravo. Unfortunate he had to play a stupid shot putting pressure back on CSK. Exciting start to the tournament nevertheless.

Good to see a equal, balanced match. Momentum shifted towards CSK and MI many times. The young guy Markande looked really impressive. Another leggie making a mark onto the big stage.

Players need to take it easy. Hardik was in great pain at one point and there were injury scares. Jadhav is somewhat of a loss, a good allrounder for CSK and he won the game for them today. Someone like Faf or Billings should come in for Tahir and move Rayudu to take Jadhav's spot.

That was a fantastic knock from DJ Bravo.

Is Murali Vijay injured or in poor form?

Why Krunal Pandya didn't bowl any over?

That was some unbeliveable hitting by Bravo.

Markande is a good find I wish he gets all the success in the world but he needs to more variety. May be bowling the conventional leg spinner more often and mixing it up with a flipper will make his googly even more effective. I also though Krunal's bowling could have made a bit of difference in the middle overs.

I feel for Kedar. He's done nothing wrong and is out of the Indian T20I team mix and now he's pulled his hamstring.

Not exactly.

They should get Shardul in for Wood and Faf in for Jadhav, pushing him to opening.

Anyone came across the story of Kashmir's Manzoor Dar? From being a watchman to getting selected for IPL. This man has an inspirational tale to tell.

Not a great start from Axar. He's bowling to Gambhir's strength.[DOUBLEPOST=1523184673][/DOUBLEPOST]

Isn't Faf like not 100% fit. I like the idea though for having Faf opening the batting. Rayudu looked a bit out of place last night.

Then Billings can come in. Thakur is too good to be sitting out.
