Cannot agree more, he is living off his past reputation. Also he might be a good fielder but he looks way too lethargic. There are quite a few players in this IPL who are way past their prime.

Many teams are carrying around players purely based on reputation. Pollard is the biggest of them all.

Another game where a team is going to defend their total. For a tournament that started off with a flurry of hugely successful chases, we are seeing an equal amount of games where defending is working. Teams need to revise their strategies and not just blindly chase every game (CSK - are you hearing this?).

How does RCB flounder like this in every season of the IPL despite always cherry picking a mega star studded batting lineup, is beyond me!!

Honestly, RCB seems to have the same formula India had before they developed Bumrah and Bhuv. Bat the opposition out of the game. It's clearly not going to work with them.

Their bowling is so weak and so poor that the batting isn't standing a challenge. Falling short of a quality Indian domestic bowler and batsmen. Filling a side with big names won't win you the big games!!!

You can't expect a player to score 200 runs alone, can you? When you don't have a partner in the other end, its always advisible to not take any risk and try the best possible way to overcome that situation in the field. I completely acknowledge his game today. This was the match to lose for RCB.

Mumbai were in a similarly commanding position against CSK too in the tournament opener. It took a Bravo miracle to get them home. Its high time Mumbai start winning because they have been so damn close on 80% or above of the games they've played.

I am going to take a calculated pick here and say that Mumbai and Hyderabad will be playing the first Qualifier. Kolkata will play the Eliminator. The 4th spot will be a shootout. Rajasthan, Punjab and Chennai will be fighting tooth and nail for it. Don't be surprised if the last league game of this season (between KXIP vs CSK) becomes a virtual quarterfinal.

Anderson is a joke, with de grandhomme in the squad Anderson is a waste. Daniel vettori believes that all kiwis are good. Why replace a strike bowler who consistently bowls 140 and swings the ball with a useless 120kph bowler than can score a few runs
