I was in the crowd for the entire of that one. Got a bit over-shadowed by super Saturday at the Olympics.

Favourite knock is Michael Clarke's 151 (176) vs South Africa in a Test at Newlands in 2011. Played so, so well on a day when the bowling was excellent and the rest of the Aussie batting failed. Shaun Marsh was the only guy who got past 20 (he made 44). South Africa v Australia, 1st Test: Michael Clarke's finest innings | Cricket Features | South Africa v Australia | ESPN Cricinfo

Another I should mention is the very first innings I can specifically recall bits of: Brian Lara's 277 vs Australia at SCG, 1992/93. Fantastic innings.3rd Test: Australia v West Indies at Sydney, Jan 2-6, 1993 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

And finally, Mark Waugh's 116 vs South Africa in 1996/97. He wasn't really a man known for the hard yards, but he played a crucial hand here, as Australia chased down 270-odd in the 4th innings. Looked totally at ease (apart from that first hook shot :p), in that usual lovely Junior Waugh style - such a great player to watch.2nd Test: South Africa v Australia at Port Elizabeth, Mar 14-17, 1997 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

Favourite knock is probably the tap-tap-tap ... tap... tap... tap.

Favourite spell is probably homing crystal soul mass in Dark Souls.

Whilst my favourite catch would be some kind of Carp.

I will agree with Lara and that magical 153.

EDIT: Also remember his batting partner, Walsh, the man who to this day still holds the record for most ducks. Whenever I remember this match I still hear Tony Cozier's voice in my head, "And Walsh has stopped the yorker dead."

I watched the end of that match in school, we just didn't care about going to class anymore and neither did the teachers. Everyone just wanted a victory.
