The new jersey revealed yesterday is NOTHING NEW yet again! This is so boring. Whoever makes decisions on jerseys, needs to be sacked. It's time for India to try something really different on the jersey designs. Same design being recycled in 'not so different' ways.

I was happy with the previous jersey though and I don't really think our jersey needs a big change infact I can say India always have had one of the best jerseys in the world in the last decade or so. So why make any big changes ? The Indian jersey has always been the identity of Team India which isn't the case with other teams around the world so I don't really think we need to change our jerseys much
Maybe that's because you weren't part of that generation where India tried variety in their jerseys and yet kept the creative juices flowing. People like us from the 90's had so much fun watching our players wear the kind of jerseys they did in that '98 Coca Cola Sharjah tournament, our 2003 WC jersey was brilliant with that tinge of black added, our 92 WC jersey was beautiful, the 96 Titan Cup jersey with the tinge of yellow, etc.

Frankly speaking, I do not like 92 WC jersey that much. That colour looked so dull. I like the jersey which was used during NZ series back in 1994 and the one in Sachin Tendulkar scored his first 100, btw was that same jersey ? 2003 WC was a brilliant jersey but I don't know why that wasn't used in any of the bilateral series ever. I think our current T20I jersey is very good they should've used it for ODIs actually. I think our previous ODI jersey was better than the current one. I just spoke to one of my friend saying the previous one looked so good with the colour of our Tri-colour on it in reply he said to me that Tri-colour shouldn't be used on jersey as it is a sign of disrespect for the Tri-colour because the jerser becomes dirty with dust and mud while playing, I pretty much agree with him as well

This is another classic case of pseudo-nationalism at its best. The tri-color represents the national flag, but it is not the national flag. So there is no disrespect. The jersey gets dirty while representing the country. I dont see anything offensive about it. Its like people have this weird NEED of being offended these days and find anything and everything to fit this need.
The current jersey looks decent. Nothing spectacular. Would have loved a dash of tri-color somewhere though. It almost looks like a training jersey

i was talking about the flag itself and not just the colour. Actually he is a huge Dhoni fan and once Dhoni was asked about not sporting the national flag on his helmet so this is what Dhoni had replied so that is why he thinks like that. I too don't agree with him entirely but to some extent

For me the biggest concern would be whether to go with Pandhya or Shankar.But I would personally opt for Pandhya as he has experience playing in England and could bowl better.And what about Ravichandra Aswin? Has he got any chance of making it to world cup.

TBH, I'd have them both since both have different playing styles. Vijay can play the anchor/aggressive role at #5 and Pandya can stay at #7. I'd personally have DK in the team at #4 but since the team management has to drag the burden of MS's batting, its high time he is made to bat #4.

My main concern is that our bowlers are walking wickets in terms of batting. They need to learn to put bat to ball at least and give the support to genuine batsmen at the other end. We used to have players like Irfan, Bhajji, Kumble who used to do it quiet effectively. For me, the ltd. overs cricket career for Rayudu and Ashwin is over.

DK is not a player who should play at 4 as he always looks to go for the big shot and if in the process he gets out then just think about our lower middle order. And I think MS has done pretty well this year. Experienced player are such that they aren't short of bringing their best in big tournaments like World Cup. Remember Ponting went 18 months without scoring a 100 before the WC but suddenly he surprised us with a 100 in the Quarter-Final which almost took the match away from us. He has the experience and ability and also has enough fire-power to win the Cup for India with the value he brings into the team

Well, I feel that DK has gone for big shots because most times it has been the need of the hour. Also, he hasn't been getting consistent chances at #4. He is more than good to play the anchor role. BTW, I'm not too sure what to make of Lokesh Rahul at the moment. He's too good a player to be sitting out of the team but his inconsistency hasn't helped his cause.

If we do anything for our army and for the family members of our army then why are they raising an objection against it ? Whatever Moeen Ali and Imran Tahir did was without the prior notice of the ICC and ECB and CSA are there to see to those issues, PCB doesn't need to interfere in this !!!!! Sometimes I feel bad for those people in that Country who proudly say that Pakistan is their Country and it can't do anything wrong when there are these creatures living in their Country itself !!!!!
