It's actually not a spam. PlanetCricket had been on .net domain in the past and after moving the site to .org domain, Matt had setup the auto redirect between the domains to make it easier for users to access the site on new domain.

Since the Fantasy Cricket was also running on .net domain, it was automatically redirected to .org until the time when the auto redirect got expired. From what I can remember, We (FC team members) used to have the thread link option to automatically add the discussion thread to game. But I'm no more a FC member. So, if any FC member is reading this, kindly update the thread link.

The thing you're talking about is entering the thread id after creating a thread that doesn't really reflect on the domain tbf.

If I remember correctly then when I joined here there was a Smiley for writing BTW. And there was a Smiley with sunglasses like we have in WhatsApp.
