Murray Goodwin's 56-ball 68 powered Sussex Sharks to a sub-par total on an admittedly difficult wicket to score runs on. This was his highest score this season.
Dwayne Smith also contributed with an invaluable 31. However, the pace at which he scored was quite underwhelming. A knock that left the Sharks wanting more.

For the Stallions, Mohammad Asif and Shoaib Malik picked-up two wickets each, with the former having an impressive economy. The two were quite effective.
A 147-run target is anyone's game, but with the kind of firepower that Sialkot has, it is going to take one hell of an effort from the Sharks to pull off this victory.

Imran Nazir, you beauty! An incredible 77-run unbeaten innings (off 49 deliveries) from Imran Nazir has helped Sialkot Stallions blast right to the final at Lord's.
The brazen opener was supported through his mercurial knock by his skipper - Shoaib Malik, who himself played a vital knock to ensure the win for the Stallions.

Even though the Sharks' strike bowlers, James Kirtley and Yasir Arafat made inroads early on, they could never truly capitalise on a thriving start to the innings.
Both bowlers claimed a wicket each, but their economy was quite appalling for a semi-final. Hamilton-Brown dismissed Malik and was also the most economical.

This is the second time my team has lost the semi-final in one of your leagues. Any coincidence?

Jokes aside, this was a poor display from a good team.

An incredible 73 off 47 balls from Colin Ingram bundled with Boucher's sturdy 46 and boisterous knocks from Jacobs and Smuts pushed the Warriors to 189 for 6.
The most consistently performing bowling line of the Victorian Bushrangers failed to restrict their opponents to a modest score in this all-important semi-final.

Even though Dirk Nannes claimed a 4-wicket haul, it was not enough for the Bushrangers since the fall of wickets failed to hinder the Warriors' scoring-rate.
Apart from a rare Jacques Kallis misfiring and an Ashwell Prince failure, everyone in the Warriors' batting line scored invaluable runs and pushed them to 189/6.

Dwayne Bravo 53 (37b)
Rusty Theron 3-0-32-2

19.1 Makhaya Ntini to Dwayne Bravo, Ah, the quicker ball. The batsman was late on it. No run. (0)
19.2 Makhaya Ntini to Dwayne Bravo, Yorker full and outside offstump, the batsman just squeezes it away for a quick single to cover. (1)
19.3 Makhaya Ntini to John Hastings, Swing and a miss. No run. (0)
19.4 Makhaya Ntini to John Hastings, Down the track and driven through midwicket. There is no fielder in the deep so Long On has to run around to field it, and so in the meanwhile the batsmen get three. Poor bowling but good placement. (3)
19.5 Makhaya Ntini to Dwayne Bravo, The batsman lines up for a big slog over cow corner, but gets an inside edge, which scoots past the stumps and the keeper for four runs! The bowler has a wry smile, if the batsman keeps that up, it won't be too long till he's back in the pavilion... (4)
19.6 Makhaya Ntini to Dwayne Bravo, Good ball, he goes for the cut, it's too close to cut, he's inside edged it, and it misses the stumps by a whisker! The keeper tidies up and there is no run. Phew that was close. (0)

Warriors win comfortably in the end, but they would've had their hearts in their mouths up until the final over. 25 runs from the last over was a little too much.
Brilliant fifties from Cameron White and Dwayne Bravo go down in vain as the Warriors sneak through a 16-run win to ensure their berth in The Final at Lord's.

Victorian Bushrangers' top-order failed to lay the foundation they would've needed to chase down a massive 190-run target, and arguably led to their downfall.
Shunning Jacques Kallis, it was a mediocre-at-best bowling effort from the Warriors. Having plenty of runs on the board to defend was the gamesaver in the end.

If this was intended humorlessly, then you should go and get some life.
My man! I don't hate you. This came from you winning plenty of FC games. Sometimes loss is also good. You took it in the wrong way. I don't even know you actually so this was humor only.

Incredible bowling from Rusty Theron! What a moment to deliver your best ever figures and picking-up a 5-wicket haul in the final of the Champions League.
It was over for the Sialkot Stallions in the very first over when they lost their entire top-order. Two more wickets fell soon afterwards reducing them to 22 for 5.

A hard-fought fifty from Abdul Razzaq and a valiant show of resistance from Mansoor Amjad somewhat saved face for the Stallions and brought them to 149/9.
Rana Naved-Ul-Hasan also chipped in with quick runs at the end to push Sialkot to a respectable, more competitive total. A total they are capable of defending.

150 is a fairly modest target that the Warriors are more than capable of chasing. But given Sialkot Stallions' bowling attack, this appears to be an even contest.
Only once a team has won in the final of Champions League batting second. That was way back in 2005 when Leicestershire Foxes had troubles chasing 134.

Can Sialkot Stallions bowling attack led by Mohammad Asif manage a major upset and take home a the title for the first time after making five appearances?
Or will the Warriors become only the second team to chase-down a target in the final of the Champions League and give South Africa their third title overall?

Victory for the Warriors! Colin Ingram's unbeaten 60* and Jacques Kallis' 43-ball 51 ensures not only the win, but the Champions League title for the Warriors.
In the end, it turned out to be a comfortable victory for the Warriors. They paced their innings brilliantly and never looked troubled by Sialkot Stallions' bowlers.

Sialkot Stallions will no doubt be disappointed and dejected after their performance. They made it to the finals against all odds, and choked at the last moment.
Mohammad Asif and Rana Naved-Ul-Hasan - two most-experienced bowlers in the team claimed only a wicket each whereas the part-timer captain bagged two.

Shoaib Malik broke the Kallis-Ingram partnership but the game was already over by that point. Mark Boucher was dismissed on the next ball, but to no avail either.
Two boundaries from Colin Ingram right after these two wickets fell, and they were over the finishing line, winning the 2010 Champions League Twenty20.

Brilliant game! Razzaq really gave us a chance with his sensible batting but we were never able to recover from 22/5. I had high expectations from Asif and Naved-ul-Hassan but unfortunately both couldn't deliver when it mattered the most. We were so close yet so far.

Congratulations @Asham on winning the Champions League. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the league and it was brilliantly organized. Lastly, a big thankyou to @Na Maloom Afraad for letting me be a part of this.
