What pitch settings do you use for playing in the various countries?

This is what I have been using based on someones suggestions on Ashes 17...

England & New Zealand= Green, Soft, normal wear
Australia= Dry, Soft, normal wear
South Africa= Green, Hard, Light cracks, fast wear
India & Pakistan= Dusty, Soft, Light cracks, fast wear
Sri Lanka= Green/Dry, Medium, Fast wear
West Indies= Dry, Soft, Light cracks, day 3 wear, fast wear
Bangladesh= Dry, Hard, fast wear

Honestly, I don't worry so much about it lol. I only make sure about dry/dusty pitches when I tour sub-continent teams. England, I tend to have more grassy decks than normal. But really its whatever is tickling my fancy at the given moment.

If I was going to play the game, I personally wouldn't use anything other than Medium or Hard.

Having said all this, I do wish there was an automatic option, I mean I get the customisation aspect, but when I get to decide the pitch game in, game out it feels like I'm just giving myself an advantage. Probably why my pro player doesn't get selected to the IPL.

Yeah, I think it should be locked in career mode, maybe other modes too. If I'm playing as a seamer I'm making pitches to suit me. I think certain obstacles should be put in place. If you want to play around you've got Play Now.

Thank you everyone for the insights. I was curious to see what others do, as in the previous installments of Big Ant cricket it was highly discussed but I have yet to see any discussion for Cricket 19. I do wish though, in career mode it was locked to the stadium/country though so players had to deal with different pitches and not change it to suit the role they are playing.
