Rahul is one freak of a player when he gets going. That was some great hitting at the end.

SRH's pathetic collapse masked the same underlying problems of RCB over the years. They still lack death bowlers, Steyn, Saini and Umesh are suited for the Powerplay and middle overs and they leak runs at the end. The only decent death bowlers RCB really have are Udana and Morris, who are on the bench. You can't select players to bowl at the death when they're on the bench. Dube's medium pace offbreaks obviously can't cover the absence of an actual death bowler for RCB. Could've gone with Udana if Morris was still injured.

What can he do by himself? At least there was spark while he was there. He's not going to die wondering like KKR yesterday and CSK the day prior. That's his style. And he has played that mature innings a gazillion times. His chutzpah and charisma overshadows it.

Of course he is blameless. Today's result is mostly down to Kohli's downright terrible captaincy. Using Sundar as a sixth bowler is pathetic, he must be bowling more for India FFS!
