So SRH would want DC and RCB to lose their final matches (preferably with huge margins), then defeat PBKS (preferably with a huge margin as well) and pray that KKR either lose (preferable) or win with the narrowest of margins (might still not be enough).

Yeh, I don't think so. The loss against GT (which we should have ideally won) is coming back to haunt us.

Still, I know who I'll be supporting when DC, RCB and KKR play the next match.

DC has their fate in their own hands, win the game and get in. RCB can get to 16 points but I don't think they would be able to better DC's NRR.

I'd rather say we've lost at least 5 games if not more that we should've won, it's the inconsistency and not the quality which has hurted us.

A lot of KL's criticism is fair and justified about his S/R in the IPL sometimes, specially his KXIP days but he has done a good job this year. You know that thing we talk about PBKS imploding and not being cricket smart? KL and QdK were neck and neck and then the latter just kicked into another gear and I think KL played it very smart. I have seen blokes try to match someone in that mode shot for shot and end up getting out, getting a new guy in who finds it hard to get it away and ultimately ends up starving the gun batter off strike. KL did good today.

Shreyas Iyer isn't my favourite but he's a good leader and captain. Poor guy literally saying too much chopping & changing happening.
