I thought I might as well line up the 2000s league, which I had also done many players for. This way makes it little more interesting for me to create. I Should still cover all the 2000s national teams, I think I already did Australis 2000s and West indies 2000s and India 2000s, many players for this era are on the academy.

Wasim and Wakar, though they make the list of most wickets in the decade, they are way down the list and probably should not be drafted for balance, as their heyday were the late 80s and the 90s. Same for Andy Flower.

However using the same draft format (snake) and this time 10 teams here goes. The extra 2 team names? Bears and Panther. Known allrounders * will be drafted on one area of their play, which ever was the greatest skill, batting or bowling or fielding for keepers.

My next project is the 1948 Australians then the remaining players from this draft that I have not yet created.

Draft Pool:

Ranking 1-30 Opening Bats
: Hayden, G.Smith, Sehwag, Langer, Gayle, Trescothick, Vaughn, Strauss, Gibbs, Jayasuriya, Attapatu, Cook, G.Kirsten, Dilshan*, M. Butcher, M.Richardson, Dippenaar, Gambhir, P.Jaques, W.Hinds, D.Ganga, DS Smith, H.Amla, N.McKenzie, M.Hafeez, A.Stewart, S.Katich, S.Watson, I.Nazir, A.Ahmed,

Ranking 1- 50 Best Batsman: Ponting, Kallis*, Dravid, Jaywardene, Tendulkar, M.Yousuf, S.Chanderpaul, B.Lara, VVS Laxman, Sarwan, Y.Khan, Inazamam-Ul Haq, Pietersen, Ganguly, Fleming, Martyn, Samareera, Clarke, Collingwood, AB de Villiers*, Flintoff*, M.Hussey, Katich, Bell, Thorpe, Prince, Bashar, Hussain, S.Waugh, Y.Singh, Shoaib Malik, Symonds, A.Razzaq*, Astle, Shahid Afridi*, Styris, CD McMillan, R.Arnold, Ashraful, M.Bevan, G.Flower, M.Ul-Haq. Reserves: C.Read, B.Taylor. N.O'Brien, J.Maher,

Ranking 1 -20: Best Spinner: Muralidaran, S.Warne, Kumble, H.Singh, Kaneria, Vettori, MacGill, Giles, Panesar, S.Mushtaq, I.Pathan, M.Rafique, N.Boje, B.Hogg, N.Hauritz, G.Swann, D.Ramnarine, U.Chandana, Herath, K.CCallen,
Reserve: Benn, A.Mendis

Ranking 1 -50:
Best Seamer/Pace: Ntini, Lee, McGrath, Pollock, Hoggard, Vaas, Harmison, Z.Khan, Gillespie, C.Martin, Steyn, J. Anderson, S.Aktar, M.Johnson, Caddick, Nel, F.Edwards, Dillon, Streak, P.Collins, S.Clark, W.Younis, Walsh, Collymore, Gough, Umar Gul, Malinga, D.Fernando, S.Bond, D.Powell, DJ Bravo, M.Sami, (IND) J.Franklin, A.Agakar, N.Bracken, K.Mills, J.Oram, M.Mortaza, A.Nehra, F,Maharoof, W.Akram, Naved-Ul- Hasan, L.Klusener, son, A.Bichel, I.Harvey, M.Kasprowicz, P.Siddle. Should be fun finally putting the sides together, what I did notice is that there some great openers in the decade and less so in the pace/seam bowling though there are greats everywhere.

I go about my business creating or finding the players.

PS The rankings above are not by my opionion, just Test runs, or ODI runs.

My top openers for example would be M.Hayden and Graham Smith, funnily enough! Sehwag though was a hell of a player!

Excited for these! Need another one of the legends to create some old school kits. As I haven’t got a bloody clue!

"Power to the people"

Updated a few players on the academy: to reflect some of the power hitters of the 80s/90s more to follow. If T20 were around these players would have thrived!

Added Manzoor Elahi (PAK) add him to Pakistan 80s and Pakistan 90s.

Simon O'Donnell (AUS), Lance Klusener (SA), Sanath Jayasuriya (SRI), L.Cairns (NZ). Wasim Akram (PAK), V.Richards (WI), Ian Smith (NZ), Z.Abbas (PAK), S.Malik (PAK), C.Lloyd (WI), K.Dev (IND)

@Mouseydread would you like a fixed design (like 92/96 WC kits) or different ones for each team? Been making some this afternoon. Can easily change.
Fixed design would be great! However I also liked what you did with the Lockdown, but fixed design for now. :) also a generic first class one if you have time with sponsors All I sowuld have to do is change colours of hat/shelmets. ,

Love it for the Dragons! Come to think of I loved the "Fire In Babylon kit too!" @wasteyouryouth Keep em coming! Additionally I of course love the Mouseydread across the middle but as everyone may come to like their team, maybe "90s League" would be better :) Or the name of the Franchise "dragons".

Thanks for this! I am working on the 2000s now, :)

Uploaded England 2000s.

I enjoyed this team at the time, England emerged from darkness and paved the way to the number 1 spot which they would eventually reach after the decline of the great Australian team. This team is led by Michael Vaughan and has so much talent, including the mercurial Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff, Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Strauss, Steve Harmison, Ian Bell, and Paul Collingwood (OBE) at its core with some veterans from the 90s like Nasser Hussain, Graham Thorpe, Mark Butcher, Darren Gough, Graham Hick, Andy Caddick and Alex Stewart.

The team was never more exciting than in the 2005 Ashes.

I loved that England has a 4 pronged pace attack but all too briefly, Harmison, Hoggard, Flintoff and Jones could have ruled the world but for injuries. Who knew though that during this decade, Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad also part of this era would develop into English cricket greats.

The players are either mine of @wasteyouryouth and I picked up Monty Panesar from the academy.

Uniforms are from @wasteyouryouth

Enjoy, I will add, Ryan Sidebotton, Chris Read and Craig White over the next few days, but there are plenty of players here and some one day specialists, like Vikram Solanki and Owais Shah.

Uploaded Pakistan 2000s

Lots of talent here with some players from the 90s as veterans, such as Inzy, Waqar, Suqlain and Saaed Anwar, and Azhar Mahmood

The team however despite a slight weakness as opener has some talented players in their own right, the explosive Shahid Afridi an ODI and T20 star, Younis Khan and Mohammed Yousuf were two of the greatest batsmen of their era and backed up by the captaincy of Misbah Ul-Haq and the speed of pacer Shaoib Akthar, the guile of Danesh Kaneria and the brilliant underrated bowling of , Abdul Razzaq, Mohammed Asif and Umar Gul, Pakistan can take on anyone of this era.

I have plundered the academy here and tweaked ratings, and anyone I could not find I made from scratch. As I do the 2000s and 2010s its becoming a lot easier to find players. It is however hard to credit creators as their are many duplicates without retaining the original creators names.

I will still make Mohammed Sami who I believe I missed so far.

I will however put the credits up when I go through them again and thank the creators for their hard work.

uniforms are from @wasteyouryouth

So Australia, England, India, Pakistan and West Indies have been completed for the 2000s, I should have South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe up by weekend, as I have most of the players already in my database.

Enjoy!

Updated some greats with seam bowling skills,

Glenn McGrath (AUS), Kapil Dev (AUS), Jacques Kallis (SA), Curtley Ambrose (WI), Richard Hadlee (NZ), Ian Botham (Eng), Imran Khan (PAK), Shaun Pollock (SA).

Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad belong I feel in this range with excellent seam bowling skills.

Enjoy!
