Seems like Morgan is going to retire from international cricket.

Gutted for him if it ends up being injuries. Deserved to go out on a high, not back to back ducks against the Netherlands.
Agreed - he definitely deserved a better exit than the one he got, but at the same time it is clearly time to go. Especially as he always said he wouldn't hang on unless it was what was best for the team.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's pulled a Nasser - retired so that the guy who's come in and would otherwise be dropped (in this case Phil Salt) can be kept in the side

I also wonder if this mightn't lead to an open door for Alex Hales

I'm sure Rob Key had a recent meeting where he laid out the new strategy:
"Okay guys, we're England. That means we're expected to be rubbish. So we have to decide whether we are going to be rubbish in the white ball or red ball game."

It's now clear what they decided.
