Just played a morning session of a test, after 30 overs i.e. end of morning session, there was no walk off scene to indicate lunch, no comment from the comms etc, this was in all the previous games, it just went to the next ball, i assume, in the next session.
Anyone seen any cut scenes yet in...
Just to show what i mean, i went into the nets.
Look at where i stopped the release bar, almost bang in the middle, yet its still only a "good" release and not ideal.
That said i can sometimes now get it "ideal", it just requires being far nearer the top of the green release window than the...
This. Ive just played a few overs on 30 pitch bounce and it plays much better, as you say, mostly gone is back foot mania and silly shots to balls they should be getting forward to.
Great tip - one we all should follow.
Not just me that noticed that then!
Its far quicker than...
For my sins, despite those two vids i posted earlier, gave it another go...
England v Windies ODI at my beloved Trent Bridge (which looks nice i have to say), and the battle between bat and ball was for 99% of the time, really good, realistic, ebbed and flowed.
Its just the...
From my testing yes. I play on Legend diff, Hard/Hard for batting and bowling. Tried bowling on Medium to see what happened and with the real pacemen, the AI couldnt hit a thing, it was edging or missing literally every ball, so if you want some semblance of realism, stick to Hard. Hardest is...
Fellas. This game is a shambles, broken beyond belief.
Decided to give it a whirl again with the new patch from today, Dec 3.
I only had to play a few overs to see this dross, its hardly hidden.
So this happened, a routine caught and bowled, it clearly doesnt bounce...the game continued as it...
Im not personally abusing Ross, BA, or anyone who works there, but charging people extortionate prices to play a cricket game where a quick single becomes a life and death experience and fielders routinely grab the ball and run over the boundary with it for four...is not being rude.
A developer that doesnt really care that much for ensuring the quality of its product, and has rushed this out before the Ashes hype begins so as to net a few more dollars.
Cynical? Yeah. Truthful? Quite possibly.
Ive had to shelve the game until this, running between the wickets and the fielding is fixed.
As it is, the game is fundamentally unplayable as a game of cricket.
Hoping this lot gets patched soon otherwise thats 40 quid wasted :(
