Who's in your "All Time XI"?

Imagine turning up to watch the greatest cricket XI of all time, and Ijaz Ahmed wobbles out to open the batting.

Who's in your "All Time XI"?

Okay so this took me a little longer than anticipated because I had to spreadsheet it and then I had to make artwork for my team. Anyway, here is my squad: |Test XI|ODI XI|T20 XI 1|:eng: :bat: WG Grace|:ind: :bat: Sachin Tendulkar|:ind: :bat: Virender Sehwag 2|:ind: :bat...

Who's in your "All Time XI"?

So this used to be one of the most common discussions on any cricket forum, but after a while it kind of died out. So I'd like to open up the conversation again in the form of almost a writing prompt. The scenario is that you're a video game developer and you've got to put together an "All Time...

    Draft: Selection: Impossible

I mean, I have back-up options, but these are just the three that I shortlisted from the start. I honestly think Jaiswal is going to be the best Test batter in the world for about the next 15 years so he's definitely a good pick

    Draft: Selection: Impossible

Well this solves one of my selection dilemmas. I had three openers pencilled in for two spots

I feel like it's more likely to be a technical issue tbh. His run-up has become so exaggeratedly weird that his alignment through the run-up, into the delivery stride and through his action are all hideously wrong. Of course he's a good enough bowler that he can still bowl top quality off-spin...

The day that Ben Foakes plays every game will be the day that Stokes and McCullum have started to truly understand their team.

Post Line-ups Elite League: Australia VIII | Round 2 - Not the way you want to start off..

Oh wow, that was an absolutely devastating team performance.

I love the idea of Pant being unleashed as a number four or five batter to see what'll happen. I don't think he quite makes the first choice batting order as a non-keeper yet (Gill 3, Virat 4, Sarfaraz 5), but he could easily be the next player in line. I would still love to see an all-Bengali...

    Player Management & 'Rest'

Because the physical toll of bowling fast is completely different to that of batting. We do regularly - he basically doesn't play white ball cricket outside of World Cups, and barely (if at all) plays for Durham.
