    PC Bugs noticed so far

Nope. Back to 5 minutes 40 seconds, still merely updating Best Teams, so the FPS is hovering between 80 and 85 fps. My hard drive fan was spinning like crazy, though, so I'm still tweaking NVIDIA Control Panel options to take as much strain off as possible. Edit: Stumps on day 1 of this...

    PC Bugs noticed so far

THANK YOU!! Your post has been a big help, even though I still haven't yet solved my crashing issues entirely. I have only just installed Ashes Cricket on my laptop (which is my only new device with an adequate GPU: a GTX 1050 Ti), but for whatever reason(s) the game always crashes after 5...

ICC World Cup 2015 Discussion Thread

ah! I was wondering if that would get mentioned. It's a nice, sentimental touch to schedule the World Cup opener in Christchurch, but not only is the redevelopment at Hagley Park unfinished, but it hasn't even received approval from the Environmental Court! The ICC's decision to announce the...

    Tri-series in West Indies - June/July 2013

Great to see a tri-series happening, especially where one wouldn't usually be played. They shouldn't be overdone, but I hope they don't die out completely. Given the current forms of each team, this should be a cracking series. I can see the West Indies coming out all guns blazing, possibly...

Bangladesh Tour of Zimbabwe April/May 2013

Was Mushfiqur's resignation of the captaincy an overreaction? It definitely isn't what Bangladesh needed; it seems like he threw in the towel a little too easily. Bangladesh may have been outplayed in the ODIs, but they need solidarity and leadership, and this isn't helping.

What would YOU like me to write about?

Have you ever written about cricket being in the Olympic and/or Commonwealth Games? The topic came up in conversation recently, and I'd like to read more about it.

oh, phew! Netherlands finish with 206/5. I reckon they can defend it, but by some freakish coincidence, the SA Emerging side made exactly the same score against the Oranje in the group game. The side batting first won that game, and I reckon it'll happen again. With Namibia's impressive...

    Cricket Broadcasts 2013-14

ah, that answers my first question. When I was in Canada last year, my uncle was showing me the dedicate (cable) cricket channel(s) they have there, but it looks like the USA has a lot more coverage especially of live series. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying?

I had a lengthy post on the Namibian Quadrangular T20 tournament lined up, but I've been too busy to type prose. Here's the short version: I'm very surprised, but nevertheless very impressed, at all of Kenya's performances in the last week. I still can't get over how the Netherlands crashed...

It seems that way in the WCL Div 1 circuit, but I was looking at their CSA Three-Day results yesterday, and that looked disappointing -- they only had two 300+ scores over the 13 matches and a further three between 250-300. Add to that the time they lost chasing 158, and the time they...

Bangladesh Tour of Zimbabwe April/May 2013

nooooooooooooo :facepalm I've made a couple of lengthy, heart-felt posts around the internet, but this thread isn't the place. The bottom line is that segregating Test teams would be like dividing the rich and the poor: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Nobody wins. Lower-ranked...

This thread doesn't deserve to be buried on page 3. - Namibia's ODI weaknesses are continuing to show, losing both games to the Netherlands despite being in a decent position to win the second match. Daan van Bunge did marvellously to guide the tail to a tense one-wicket win. Not sure why...

    Domestic Cricket in Associate Nations

I'm not sure why, but no matter how many times I read this excerpt, I still don't know what you're trying to say. The Interpros will be classed as FC, LA, and T20... right? Either way, what bearing would that have on young players' opportunities?

    Cricket Broadcasts 2013-14

Legend! It's interesting to see how much cricket is accessible to the United States, while we here in Australia have to wait for the Eng-NZ series and Champions Trophy. Where'd you get all this info?

Bangladesh Tour of Zimbabwe April/May 2013

It's a shame now that both Ervine brothers are casualties of ZU. We can only hope that Craig's dispute is just for the winter. Is this series being televised anywhere on TV or radio? One way or another, I'll certainly be keeping an eye on these games, though I do wish that Zimbabwe and...

    Domestic Cricket in Associate Nations

This is all fantastic! I had heard about the Irish domestic teams, but not the Scottish. I had sort of lost track of what was going on in Kenya in recent months/years, so their domestic league comes as a welcome surprise. I do have questions: 1) How does one pronounce "Reivers"? My friend...

Zimbabwe tour of West Indies 2013

What do you make of Elton Chigumbura's absence from the squad? It seems strange not seeing his name amongst the others. And as small a victory as it was for Zimbabwe to at least bat out the 50 overs, it's disappointing that they didn't at least exceed 200, especially with Prosper Utseya...
