Try restricting your monitor's refresh rate to 60 Hz using a tool such as Riva Tuner or if you have an Nvidia card just use the NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Manage 3D settings and restrict Max Frame Rate to 60 FPS. Seems to have fixed the issue for me.

I can't get my Xinput controller to detect even when using a program to convert it to dinput. I am using a standard microsoft xbox controller. I tried using Xinput plus which has options to convert xinput to dinput but no luck. Anyone have any tips on how to get a controller detected with this game?

I would say EA Sports Cricket 2002 by HB Studios is much better at capturing the feel of the real game, for me. No doubt Brian Lara International Cricket '99 does it brilliantly as well.
