There is an option to move slips and keeper closer to the wicket. Hopefully this will cause some of the edges to carry. I honestly did not face this problem. Are you using the default sliders?

Those sliders are only for the user, not the AI. Also, it does not solve the issue of increasing the variety of edges to the slips/gully region.

I hope that in the next iteration, there is an edges slider under physics which determine the frequency and variety of edges. We can tune it until we feel like it mimics reality.
