    T20 World Cup 2024 (West Indies/USA)

The way I see it is they won't risk the 2019 formula wherein we took as many as 4 keepers. India has shown their wanting to have players who can bowl a bit too. Furthermore, KLR isn't a brute hitter from the word 'go'. He was dropped from the T20 setup for this very reason. If we are taking...

Wait and watch. The selection is yet to happen. The only common element among RCB and Indian team losing in finals and been Virat. Remove him and we might just win :laughter::grinning:

No Mohd.Siraj yesterday??? Man, his presence could have added those 13 missing runs!

Indian Premier League - General Discussion

In a country like India, the stadiums will go 75% any day. Don't think a barrage of sixes and fours is essential for the organizers to fill the stadium with.

Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Imagine if RCB trades Virat for someone else and they actually end up winning the Cup next year.... I saw the highlights and that was some brute hitting from SRH. makes me think that some grounds need to make way for slightly bigger ones + change the pitch to bring an even contest between bat...

    TV Series General Discussion

I have to say it started off on a high. I had great expectations here. While I havent read the books, the show, atleast in the first few episodes seemed to be a breath of fresh air. However, the storyline really tapered off towards the end there. From Ep5 onwards, the show was painfully slow and...

Not in favour of Pant coming in here. A few smacks doesn't define a player and I am yet to see a single innings of substance from Pant this IPL. It would be taking a big name for the heck of it. The '???' can be filled by Sundar, Bishnoi/Chahal and Arshdeep. As aback up, I'd take Jitesh...

Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Dhoni scoring or not is immaterial. He is simply out there enjoying a retiree's life. If he scores, he scores, if he doesn't score, he doesn't. His position within CSK being such that even if he scores 5 ducks in a row, misses 10 catches in a game, he won't be dropped. Coming to the last over-...

Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Well, if DK was calling the shots like MSD, then he'd have perhaps stayed. But, wherever DK goes, he's simply being considered as another player. He had an opportunity with KKR, which I believe, he wasted, by stepping down. Else, things could have been different for DK today.

ha ha ha! It is very difficult to expect a rational attitude from India here. I agree with the line-up that you've posted and do hope they take those sort of decisions- however, I really doubt they'd do so.

Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Look at it this way- DK will probably not be considered for the Indian team even if he performs magnificently in the coming games. DK's stint with SKY has brought to the fore a pretty good alternative career for him. his improved relations with the ECB, with him taking on the mantle of a mentor...

    Pakistan Team Discussion

Yes, a lot of talk about those 2. Earlier it was Watson, but he seems to have turned down the opportunity. The only ask for a coach would be that he be given a free reign. This has plagued Pakistan over the years and could cause concerns in the near future as well.

T Natarajan, Ashton Turner as well. While they do play league cricket, they have vanished entirely from the international arena. 1712802909 Is h even in the pecking order? Let's say ,should an injury happen to Monank or someone else, do you reckon he'd be picked for the WT20?

Is Salman Butt coming back as well? After Imad and Amir, I thought that be the most logical choice for them- perhaps even replace Masood as Test captain :laughter:

    General Cricket Discussion

True! In many ways the Super Sub was a bette option. The impact sub allows teams to have an extra batsman- this in itself is quite weird. I have seen that the batsman subbed out, has in many cases already batted. The impact then comes in and bats again. This goes against the very logic of the game.
