I have created this new thread to share all my contribution for Cricket Revolution.
Staring with Umpire kits...

This is another creative thought that stuck me. We would be now able to remove/edit stadiums from the game. This would be good on those low configuration machines where the game runs slow due to CPU required to load the high profile stadiums.
The 3d component of the game is stored in DTS...
Ok. So all those who were waiting to understand the 'magic' behind the texture editing, below is the tutorial.
As we all know that the data is packed in ".CR" format and is password protected. However you do not need the password to view the path of each file. It can be easily viewed in...
While playing demo and now even in the full version, I am not able to play all the shots. For instance, the cover drive for left handed batsman (down + left arrow) does not respond in the game. Other shots work fine.
Is anyone else also facing the same problem? If yes, is CR team going to work...
After a very long break, I have finally decided to start creating some patches for Cricket 2005.
Considering the current pathetic faces in C2K5, I have decided to start with face making. Here is my first attempt for Sehwag's face:
There are two things that have bugged me most in C2005.
The one is wrong faces for Asian players and two worst possible bat collection.
I know that many of our forum members have started making some high quality bats, but still the bats are not assigned correctly to Default players in C2005...
Earlier I started a thread reporting that the game is too slow. But later I found that the game sometimes runs too fast on my machine.
So now I have a problem .. the game runs either too fast (like fast forward) or too slow (like in action reply).
I tried using xpseed to reduce/increase game...
Hey guys, after some more research I am now able to edit players in Cricket 2005 (of course demo).
Check the below screenshot. I have as of now able to change the name from Symonds to Sundeep.. but surely the file contains many more parameters which I need to research.
I have started to edit the demo. Maybe we can start exploring the game modes in Cricket 2005 in demo version if available.
Menu editing is absolutely possible and very simple in demo (so surely in final version too).
Just in case nobody saw EA sports extras in the demo game.. here it is.
Hey Guys, some good news for you.
If my guess is correct, then there are 48 bats in this game and more than 250 faces.
Here are some of them. Face making wont be easy now for our face makers (Preet and Rahul) as compared to Cricket 2004.
For all those who want to buy Cricket 2005, just keep one fact in mind:
The Game is VERY VERY SLOW.
I have 128MB ATI Radeon 9600 PRO TURBO graphics card with 512 MB RAM.
I even configured the graphics settings to maximum speed (which was Highest Quality for Cricket 2004), but still the game...
Just started making some stumps with 3D rendering.. Have a look at it.
In case you feel they are better than the EA ones, then feel free to post a request of your favourite stumps in this thread (with screenshots if possible) and I will give a go at it.
We all know that it takes great effort and pain to earn reputation points. Time and again you have to come up with something special in order to attract attention of forum members.
But at the same time it is very easy to lose the reps for threads like THIS.
Can anybody tell me what was wrong...
