Just realised that commentators never mention any player names now in any game mode outside of the Ashes series. Obviously some surnames aren't in the commentary list - there were loads more in DB17 which is a shame - but nobody's name ever gets mentioned. Think this is post patch. Is it just me...

Can somebody tell me how to stop 20/20 style music from being played in a custom match type ? I created a retro test type of match and it's fine apart from annoying music playing when wickets fall / between overs - bit out of place for a 1981 Ashes series !

I pretty much enjoy the game generally but I'm a bit disturbed by the fact that when I bowl v the AI all the wickets I get are via catches. No exaggeration. In the last 10 casual innings I've bowled in (playing first class / test matches) all 100 dismissals have been caught. I play on medium /...

Am I missing something with taking catches ? Line up circle over ball till it goes green and then click A (on Xbox) ? Keep dropping routine ones and wonder if I'm missing something ?

Maybe I'm missing something but I just got the PS2 version of the game and when batting it seems like by the time you see the cursor to show where the ball's going to pitch you can no longer move your batsman left or right. Been a while since I played the last version but I'm sure you used to...
