Pakistan Tour Also Gets a thumbs up
In the wake of the latest uncertainties in pakistan the CA took a shocking step to send their team to pakistan . when asked why the CA took such a step an official said that the security measures were taken and the security there would be of the top level.and its the cricket that rules not these things..these things will go on but cricket would have to be played. .
well this reply did not go well with the media and a lot of questions were raised ..
was it just for the money or did they really want to show how much a brave side australia were?

After all this controversies ..the media speculations and the shocking decisions ..everyone is jst looking at what would happen and what wouldnt ..
the players have their say to what they think of the tour ..remember Australia tour the whole of the sub continent ..that is Pakistan ..India ..Sri Lanka And Bangladesh..
Ricky Ponting : " Well the CA knows what is in the best interests of the players and they know better than us .. So i respect the decision taken by the CA .
Michael Clarke : " Well,for me cricket will always be the first priority and Pakistan are a very good team and Australia loves to play against top class teams and win ... We are sure that we will win our matches with India too .. No problems for me as the security is going to be top notch
Andrew Symonds - " Well M happy that the tour is going to commence ...well i must say that i m happy coz this gives me an opputunity to play in India ..I hope we give India a taste of their own medicine.

Welcome to ESPN and today we are in Dhaka for the first test of the best of one series ... well its a warmup for Australia for the big sub continent tour that lies ahead.. Well things apart i have Ian Chappel besides me ..Ian your thoughts on the team selection
IC : well to be fair australia have a really good team ..after the retirements of their premier players say gilchrist ...mcgrath...warne...langer.. its been tuf but ricky has put a great team together
HB: your view abt the victorian trio tell us something about them
IC : well mcgain is a spinner he s quite old..as old a Macgil but as Macgil is injured and as Bradley Hogg would not feature in the one dayers it left australia in a fix and thus mcgain would be the automatic choice coz he has bowled his heart out in the ford ranger cup back in australia.. well David Hussey is a fantastic striker off the ball and bowls good off spinners in the last overs
and cameron white has jst got immense power and his spinners are also good
for me a well balanced team
HB : so u looking forward to the series?
IC : yeah definately ...looking forward to the duel with India after a month

The Aussie Struggle
well those of u who were of the opinion that bangla would be blown away were in shock
Phil Jaques was run out for 5 ..clearly a lack of communication
Haydos followed soon when baisya bowled him a perfect line which he could only loft to mid on
Aussie Strugglin at 13/2 in 9 overs
Ponting got a beauty from baisya and he was on his way
the vice captain showed some sign of form and was not out on 44
Hussey gave him good support with a fighting 49
but he was also leg before to hasan..
a fighting innings coming to an end
Aussies left tottering at 111/4 at lunch
Symonds and Clarke in the centre and Clarke looking comfy there
we will wait and see what happens after lunch

Aussies breath a sigh of relief
Well at lunch australia were tottering at 114/4
and now we have come to the end of the day here
and the score is 288/6
well symonds and haddin played really well for australia here
and symonds is 100 not out
sad that haddin got out in the ending overs of the day
Michael clarke got out jst after lunch on 46
well the bangladeshi pacers have left the aussies panting today
but symonds and haddin played really well and the session after the luch break was australias
symonds played a powerful innings
THE POST DAY SHOW
HB : well wat a day its been . frst it lookd as if australia were going to lose a lot of wickets but then symonds and hadding played really well
haddin got a beauty ..well ne batsmen could have had trouble negotiating that kinda ball
but well he and symmo have put the aussies atleast a good total
SG : well yes i thought tat the aussies would tumble early
but with the quality in the batting symonds and hadding bailed them out
HB : which bowler were u particularly impressed with
SG : was impressed with Mortaza and Rafique
HB : so what can australia look forward to tomo ?
SG : for me a total of 350 would be good for the aussies provided that they dont loose a wicket in the first session of play
symonds is the important factor
hb:well we will see what happens ..well gautam bhimani is with symmo
GB : well andrew tuf day out there
AS : yes the heat was unbearable the amount of fluids to be taken were too much
GB : but u showd us ur great attacking play
AS: they were bowling well so i had to do something to upset their rhythm
so i tried to counter
GB: so haddin helped u a lot today ..what would he tell u constantly ?
AS : he s great guy bradley
he told me to take it session by session
sad that he got out in the last few over

HB : well welcome once more to the second days play here
play jst about to commence
for me the first session will decide australia s fate
so lets see how they do in this session and then we ll be back here for lunch
have a good time watchin the match jst as we do
well brett lee and nathan bracken put up a solid partnership after symonds went for 110
hoggy out on the 4th ball of the day
brett lee was run out on 99 ....think he was too xcited abt his centurywell lets talk to ian chappel nd ravi abt it
Ian : i never thought aussis would get this many brett lee jst played magnificently
Sunny : well i have to say the bangladeshi should have brought back mortaza way early and that time lee would have been gone
Harsha: wat abt symmo he was hitting from the first ball of the day ?
Sunny : well he thought tht he wanted to go and he went frm the first ball . he hit 3 fours but then he knicked one to the slips .
Ian : yeah m dissappointed by him .i wanted him to be there and score more thn 200 here .. he he
Harsha : well well ....Brett lee went into symmos shoes and hit magnifcent shots nd now australia are in a position to topple over the opponents
Ian : yeah i think lee and hogg will be the main bowlers provided johnson and bracken provide support we will see how this goes abt but here are a few words by lee

A sorry tale in the end for Bangla
Harsha : we are nearing lunch here on the second day and bangladesh are really in trouble now
Johnson has jst ripped the bangladeshi order into pieces
he picked up 4 wickets and was well complemented by Lee who picked up 3 adding to his 99 runs with the bat as wellwell i hve got Wasim Akram with me ...waz wat do u think of this ?
WAZ : well a typical performance by the aussies ... i think johnson bowled beautifully here he was jst fantastic
he bowled in the mid 140 s and was tormenting the batting for good
and lee he looked in magnificent shape even after that 99 ...
the bangladeshi dint play well at all
only ashraful and hossain got starts and hossain got a good bouncer which he could only hook to fine leg .
Harsha : well the interesting point is how is the australian approach ?
WAZ : they are a very professional team ..they are not like if 8 wickets are fallen they will be laid back
they want to finish it as soon as possible and tat too they do it in style .
Steven Waugh and RIcky ponting have groomed up a wonderful team in the last decade ..
and they have been wonderful
HArsha : so the follow on being inforced here ...Australia lead by a massive 314...
i think this match is out of bangla s hands here?
Waz : definately with the amount of quality in the bowling i ll not be surprised if the aussies get them under 100 runs
well our power performer today is mitchell Johnson

waz: so how was it bowling there ..how is the wicket
J : well the wicket is flat and u really gotta bend ur back and if u bowl in the good areas for continuous 20 balls u will really get wickets

J : yeah it ll be fun because we have come here to rule the continent and i dont think we will leave a stone unturned on the tour

Victory for the aussies
A solid performance from the aussies has guided them to victory here in Bangladesh
Australia made Bangladesh follow on and had a lead of 318 runs .
well all of u thought that Australia would win by an innings and all that but in the end Australia had to bat again and they had to chase down 85 runs which they did easily
well lets have a look at the batting card for bangla ...only bashar played well with no one with him for support ..the opening was good ..Ashraful played some wonderful drives and Mortaza provided some fireworks in the end ..but Australia bowled well
Bracken got 3 ..Lee got 3 ...Symmo Got one...
Ravi : we have all witnessed a fantastic match
the match had everything....
a topsy turvy mind boggling match was eventually won by the world champions
First we call upon the Bangladesh Captian
Ravi : Well you have not a good couple of days here and that eventually cost u the match
Ashraful : yes , our batsmen didnt play well and we should have got lee and bracken partnership broken early and they added around 150 runs and that is too much
Ravi :u must have thought that u had a chance in the first innings when symonds got out
Ashraful : yes we were very happy but that way lee and bracken stood out there was an outstanding performance ...Lee bowled really well ..he s really matured as a bowler ...Bracken also ....
Ravi : What positives do u take frm this match ?
Ashraful : well we got to 400 against the world champs is a big positive and also we had them tottering at 114/4 in the early stages of the match
