Watch out for
In the opening rounds, Kieron Pollard set tongues wagging more with his funky hairstyles than his cricketing prowess. After he dismantled Moises Henriques on his way to a jaw-dropping 18-ball 54 against NSW, it is his big-hitting that is getting all the attention. Powell's batting prowess and exuberant personality should make him irresistible to IPL teams; the ka-ching of a fat contract can't be far away.

Morne van Wyk was a pivotal member of the Eagles' run to the finals of the Pro20 earlier this year. He was the highest run-getter in that tournament, and has proved to be the glue that holds a top-order together here as well. An unfussy 47 against Somerset which ensured the small target was easily overhauled showcased his value.

T + T are definately favourites but you never know. T20 can be unpredictable and with a team like T&T you never know whether you are going to get smashed or have a close game.

It'll surely rain here at Hyderabad after 10 PM IST. There is no doubt about it.
I live 1/2 KM away from stadium and its too cloudy. (Even, you'd have seen getting dark too fast )
So, don't expect all the 40 overs to be played.

214 in 13 overs isn't happening, I'm afraid.

Pollard hit a couple of sixes, but it wasn't his big day. Perkins hit 3 sixes, but it wasn't his day either. Nor was Lendl Simmons the star of the show with 40 from 25 balls. The big score of the innings came from the much talked about teenage opener Adrian Barath, who scored 63 from 41, an innings including four sixes and on Twenty20 debut, no less. Then a lesser known all-rounder by the name of Navin Stewart came and stole the show somewhat. Stewart, who replaced Badree in the lineup, proved to be yet another clean and powerful hitter, with 3 sixes and 2 fours in the 19th over, taking the score past 200.

Darren Bravo missed this game with an injury and it now looks like there's no place for the stylish left-hander, his replacement having made their highest individual score of the tournament.
