Yeah a real shame: would have been great to have England in the final, no disrespect to the Indian team who obviously deserved their place in the final but I feel England would have made it much more competitive.
Which is surprising considering India beat Australia in their pool game.

Yeah I was thinking India would give them a run for their money. The dropped catch was a bummer. If they had taken Healy out so early that would have been a massive boost.

So, in 2016 West Indies won the Women's WT20, Men's WT20 and U19 World Cup.

So far India has done the opposite in 2020. Lost the final of the Women's WT20, lost the final of the U19 World Cup. If I was an Indian fan, I'd be really worried about the Men's WT20 in Australia later this year. :p

The Aussies will be hard to beat on their home turf and with all respect there are a couple of teams ahead of India in the Twenty20 scene

I'd still consider them as one of the favorites, probably just behind the home side because they've been incredible in ICC events over the past few years. When it's a big occasion, they turn up. Regardless of format or form. Given the group they're in, I think England is the only side in their pool that could challenge them with all due respect. So a semi-final spot should really be imminent for them. Once they're in the knockouts, you can never count them out.

It would be surprising if we made it to Finals considering our approach have been very outdated and our batting is used to scoring just par and sub-par scores. If the bowling won't click India's campaign would be done and dusted.
