Overall a disappointing campaign for our batsmen. Bowlers were good, excluding the semifinal, but they couldn’t do much defending a below par total against such a good side. India have build a perfect structure from the junior teams to the national team, lots to learn from them, concerning selection, fitness standards etc., lots to learn for the PCB. Apparently the best batsman in the U-19 3-day competition, Muhammad Taha, was excluded. An honest man like Misbah is needed to supervise selection for the junior teams. Younis Khan would be perfect for the role.
Beating Scotland, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, and would’ve probably beat Bangladesh if it wasn’t for the rain, was all down to the bowlers, the batsmen failed at their first real test. Rohail and Haider are ones to watch, alongside Hurraira. Looking forward to see the first two in the PSL, for Multan and Peshawar respectively.

It's not like Pakistan lacks talent or skill with the bat. The difference between India and Pakistan is simply that our investment into cricket from the IPL is huge and it's become extremely extremely professional. Our boys get huge exposure and experience at the grass root levels and we have some superb people running the show at the NCA and U19 levels. Talent development wings in remote areas of this country are sprouting talent from places people didn't know names off.

This is all possible because of the amount of people that are employed and the money being invested in the sport. And how is all this possible? All thanks to that evil beast that has harmed Indian cricket so much i.e the IPL!

Yeah he bowled those during the Mumbai T20 league. He is very clever as a bowler and mixes his lengths. Not a great turner of the ball though.

So, Bangladesh is gonna play India in the finals! Expecting it to be a great game. Both u19 teams faced each other before a few times and played well each other. Though India is still the rather dominant one, obviously. Will India retain the title or will Bangladesh create history?

Brilliant from Bangladesh in the field they were superb with the ball and made sure India toiled hard for each and every run.The aggression on display made sure India succumb from 156 for 177 all out.

Jaiswal looked class apart from the rest was unlucky to miss out on another ton.

From India's perspective we defended 101 in the Asia cup final vs Bangladesh not too long ago. With the final pressure and the pitch doing a bit 177 can be defended with the current bowling lineup.

Would not be surprised to see Bangladesh pull off this victory after what I have heard from their build up towards the tournament. Long live Bangladesh Cricket !!

Hope to see them pull this off. But would certainly feel for the Indian side who did perform equally well and equally deserved this victory.
