I mean technically yes they will play the WC but they will still go through the additional stupid first round qualifier again. Out of the 8 that participate, 4 go through and 4 come back home. To be honest, all 8 should just be part of the existing 2 groups or break up the groups further and have them participate directly.

The qualifier is rubbish and hopefully it will be the end of it. But I'd still say it's the World Cup and Scotland and Namibia showed that doesn't mean they can't make it through.
