i just wanna know how come we have to have smaller sign and avatars? can we keep the avatars at 150 x 150....if not why not

It's to reduce load times on pages. By the way, your signature is currently too big.

Indiancricketer, your sig also includes the helmet and flag. (which means in total, it is over 300x100)

Personally I have no problem with the new rules being a dial-up user, and the fact that the pages used to take hours to load.... I wish we could get broadband tho!

Because the limit is 100x100, to help page load times.

I'll say what I've said elsewhere. Why not just concentrate on making good posts rather than good avatars and signatures? Posts are more important.

Or alternatively you could see the new limits as a challenge; to try and produce the most creative avatars and signatures within the new restrictions.
